Bernd Zeiss Dipl.-Biol. Gerresheimer

Bernd has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and pharma packaging industry. He had worked in both technical and commercial customer-facing roles. In his career at Gerresheimer since 2011, Bernd has sought to provide primary container solutions for glass, high-performance polymer containers, and elastomeric, ranging from vials to syringes, cartridges, and innovative products. Before his experience in pharmaceutical packaging, Bernd worked in Biostatistics and technical sales roles in the pharma industry. He holds a diploma in biology from Goettingen University, Germany. In his current role as department head, Bernd is responsible for Scientific Affairs within Gerresheimer. Bernd shares his knowledge through tech talks, webinars, conferences, and in direct customer training. He is contributing to the evolution of global standards through his active work in the DIN /ISO TC 76 committee. He is based in the company´s Center of Excellence for Primary Containers in Bünde, Germany.
