Bas de Oude is a R&D Lab Researcher at Lighthouse Instruments Europe. Bas is a chemist with a Masters in Molecular Sciences. He is, together with the R&D lab director, responsible for the discovery of new application areas in the field of non-destructive headspace analysis. In his role, he performs R&D studies, internally, for customers, or in cooperation with partners. Bas executes studies for part of the customer portfolio within Europe, including pharmaceutical companies and packaging suppliers. He has a particular interest in research and development projects involving container closure integrity at deep cold temperatures by headspace oxygen or carbon dioxide analysis.
