Antonio Castro Johnson & Johnson - Innovative Medicine

Antonio Castro (PhD, Senior Scientist II at J&J Innovative Medicine) is an experienced scientist, specialized in the formulation and process development of pharmaceutical products and medical devices. Antonio has worked for more than 5 years in the pharmaceutical business sector, currently occupying the role of Senior Scientist at Johnson & Johnson - Innovative Medicine. At Johnson & Johnson, Antonio initially worked on the process development of new parenteral vaccines and is now involved in the development of new gene and cell-based drug products. He holds a degree in biochemistry from the Faculty of Sciences in Oporto (Portugal), holding a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Radboud University in Nijmegen (the Netherlands).
