Alex Bezilla is a quality scientist focused on environmental monitoring and contamination control — with a sharp eye on the people behind the process. Drawing from experience across labs, production, and quality roles, she works to design systems that don’t just check regulatory boxes, but actually support how teams function day to day. Alex leverages human performance theory to understand why things work (or don’t), and how to build quality into workflows in a way that feels seamless, not burdensome. She's passionate about simplifying processes, breaking down silos, and challenging the “we’ve always done it this way” mindset to build smarter, more resilient operations. Alex holds an undergraduate degree in Biochemical Engineering from UMBC and a graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Clemson University. Beyond the laboratory, she brings a global perspective, having lived abroad in China, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and ASL. Alex also enjoys rock climbing, skateboarding, and indulges in tabletop gaming.
