Albrecht Gröner PathoGuard Consult

Dr. Albrecht Gröner is an internationally recognized expert in pathogen safety of biologicals, with over 40 years of virology experience. He is the founder of PathoGuard Consult and supports companies in ensuring the safety of human and animal-derived materials for biopharmaceuticals and medical devices. Formerly Head of Pathogen Safety at CSL Behring, he specialized in virus and prion safety and respective validation studies and risk mitigation. Dr. Gröner has published extensively, presented at conferences, and served on advisory and organizing committees. He holds a PhD in biology from the University of Tübingen and has lectured at several German universities.
