Alasdair Young Gilead Sciences

Alasdair Young is the Senior Director of Device Engineering at Gilead Sciences. In this role, Alasdair is responsible for the development and commercial support of all medical devices and drug-device combination products in the Gilead portfolio. Alasdair has over 17 years of experience in the industry spanning parenteral, topical, and inhalation technologies. Prior to Gilead, Alasdair held roles at Coherus BioSciences, Genentech, DCA Design, and Pfizer. Alasdair holds an MPhil in Industrial Systems, Manufacturing, and Management from the University of Cambridge and a BEng in Product Design Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
