Christina Capacci-Daniel PhD U.S. FDA Consumer Safety Officer, OMQ, OC, CDER
Christina Capacci-Daniel is a Compliance Officer in the FDA/CDER/Office of Compliance, Office of Manufacturing Quality. She is responsible for evaluating domestic and international pharmaceutical inspection, reviewing responses from industry, and preparing associated regulatory actions. She is also a part of the FDA Emerging Technology Team and involved in related policy activities. Christina was formerly a Team Leader and reviewer in the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality, Office of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Assessment where she reviewed the manufacturing process and facilities for new and generic drug applications in addition to performing pre-approval inspections. Christina Capacci-Daniel has a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Georgetown University where she studied crystallization process design and polymorphic control. Prior to the FDA, as part of the early technical research and development group at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, she developed analytical methods, designed drug products for clinical trials, and worked on innovative drug delivery and manufacturing technology.
