Renee Morley, MBA Senior Technical Services Specialist, Contec, Inc.

enee Morley is a Senior Technical Services Specialist at Contec, Inc., bringing over 15 years of experience of assisting pharmaceutical companies and others strengthen their contamination control programs. A proud PDA member since 2010, she helps companies define, evaluate, implement, and improve their contamination control programs. Leveraging her experience at assessing contamination control programs in facilities around the world, Renee provides practical guidance to align cleaning and disinfection strategies with industry best practices while tailoring them to each facility’s unique needs. Her work includes conducting contamination control assessments, facilitating in-person and virtual meetings, delivering training for employees at all levels, and sharing insights as a webinar presenter and conference speaker. As part of Contec’s collaborative Technical Services team, she draws on her own experience and the diverse expertise of her colleagues to develop practical, effective solutions to contamination control challenges across the industry.

Renee currently serves as a Board Member and Student Advisor for the PDA Midwest Chapter, creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn and engage with industry professionals, and as an advisor for the PDA Global Pharmaceutical Student (GPS) Network, expanding support for students worldwide. In addition, she is an Interest Group Leader for the Early Career Professionals (ECPs), helping develop programs that support career growth and build community among emerging leaders in the industry.

She has worked closely with students to help establish PDA Midwest Student Chapters at Purdue University and The Ohio State University. These initiatives were truly collaborative efforts, driven by the students’ enthusiasm and commitment, which have been key to their success. Together, they have organized student-focused events that provided opportunities to gain insight into the full scope of pharmaceutical manufacturing and connect with both peers and industry professionals, helping to build the future of the industry.

Previously, Renee served as President of the PDA Southeast Chapter from 2016-2019, leading initiatives that strengthened member engagement through technical meetings, conferences, facility tours, networking events, and student-focused programs. Her contributions are recognized by PDA, including being named Volunteer of the Month in 2018 and receiving two Service Appreciation Awards for her leadership and service. She also served on the planning committee for the first virtual PDA Annual Meeting in 2020, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing PDA’s mission.

Renee holds an MBA from Lake Erie College and a BA in Marketing from Ohio University. Outside of work, she enjoys chasing sunrises and sunsets, traveling, hiking, and caring for her plants, a passion she began in remembrance of her late father. Most of all, Renee loves connecting people and creating opportunities for shared experiences.
