Overview
The Mountain States Chapter of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) was established to provide learning and growth opportunities for scientific and technical individuals in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical devices. The Chapter provides opportunities for members to participate in dinner meetings with industry speakers, round table discussions, vendor shows, training courses, peer networking and other opportunities.
We encourage industry professionals into our membership and are open to suggestions that increase the knowledge and skills of our existing members.
A message to members of the PDA Mountain States Chapter, and friends of the chapter
Greetings:
This is a call to action for all members and friends of the PDA Mountain States Chapter! We are facing potential loss of our chapter charter based on our need to hold regular meetings and conduct bi-annual chapter elections.
To retain our charter, and to breathe some new life into the chapter, we urgently need the support of our members to volunteer and/or to stand as new chapter officers. The available positions are:
- President
- President Elect, to take over as President after 2 years
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Member at Large (up to three)
Descriptions of each position are available here: https://www.pda.org/chapters/chapter-officer-role-descriptions.
Serving as a PDA chapter officer is an opportunity to grow your network, learn new technical and practical skills, and serve the local pharma community through organizing educational and social events.
I urge each of you to seriously consider serving as a chapter officer or to volunteer to support our events. If you are interested, please reply to [email protected] to discuss next steps.
