Two PDA Leaders Recognized as Most Influential People in Drug Development and Manufacture in 2016 10 May, 2016

Bethesda, Md., May 10, 2016 – The Parenteral Drug Association, Inc. (PDA) is pleased to announce that its current volunteer Chair Martin Van Trieste (Amgen) and one of its past chairs, James Agalloco, have been recognized by The Medicine Maker among the "top 100 most influential people in the world of drug development and manufacture."

Van Trieste appears on the list at number thirteen and Agalloco at twenty one, keeping august company with the likes of pharmaceutical CEO’s, university professors and renowned researchers, among whom are four Nobel Prize winners.

Van Trieste, who is Sr. VP of Quality at Amgen, was praised for his "quality leadership in biologics" and his record for "advancing quality assurance and helping to ensure a more reliable supply of high-quality medicines." About Agalloco, the publication noted his affiliation with PDA and his prolific writings on the topics of sterilization, aseptic processing and process validation.
