In 2018, PDA conducted an in-depth survey of pharmaceutical professionals in India. This survey showed there was great interest in high-quality training in areas critical to global manufacturing and compliance in the 21st century.
In response to that survey, PDA is pleased to initiate a sustained program to offer its industry-leading courses in pharmaceutical science and aseptic processing in India. The Association is working with an Indian partner, EduOriens Skill Development LLP, to facilitate this training.
The full schedule of upcoming courses is as follows:
- Aseptic Process Simulations – May
- Microbial Data Deviations – June
- Lyophilization – July
- Aseptic Techniques – August
- Environmental Monitoring – September
- Aseptic Process Simulations – October
- Microbial Data Deviations – November
In March, PDA’s Senior Vice President of Education David Talmage conducted training on aseptic technique in India. PDA also continues to expand its offerings in the rest of Asia. PDA established a chapter in India in 2013 and just recently opened its second overseas office, PDA Asia Pacific, in Singapore. The Association hopes to expand the number of conferences and training courses throughout this key region.
Visit the PDA website for more information about these and other PDA Education courses.
