Description

The PDA COVID-19 Points to Consider (PtC) Task Force is now running. The Task Force is capturing the learnings from the COVID-19 pandemic as a means to prepare for and respond to future pandemics.

    The document is focused on areas such as:
  • Manufacturing Operations
  • Regulatory Aspects
  • Quality Assurance Oversight Activities
  • Supply Chain
  • Workforce Challenges
  • People

The goal of the PtC is to provide information that would be of value to the industry and regulators and have a positive influence as a means of communicating actions to be considered. The committee is identifying the learnings that have/are occurring, and the countermeasures industry and regulators should consider.

Based on the areas being covered and the broad nature of the work, the Task Force is looking to add additional members to the team with expertise in the areas listed above. Specific areas where additional assistance is needed is: Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Drug Substance and Drug Product Manufacturing.
