The Marketing Advisory Board (MAB) is composed of a diverse group of PDA members/staff with expertise and/or experience directly related to Marketing and Marketing Communications. The MAB provides guidance and assistance to PDA's Marketing Department in the development of market research, competitive analysis, and marketing strategies.
The role of the MAB will be to guide the PDA Marketing Department regarding the overall strategy and direction in support of PDA's strategic plan and mission. The MAB will work with the PDA Marketing Department in an advisory capacity and will serve as an external resource for information on best practices within the industry, competitive analysis, and other market research, and lessons learned through their respective organizations and/or volunteer activities.
MAB will hold quarterly teleconferences and two in-person meetings per year. The in-person meetings will be held concurrently with PDA Conferences (Annual Meeting and Universe of Pre-Filled Syringes and Injection Devices). Members must participate in half (50%) of the meetings each year either in person or by teleconference. MAB members may also be expected to participate in ad hoc MAB calls, as required.
Volunteers should have worked in the pharma industry (pharma company preferred) for at least ten years, with expertise in areas including, but not limited to, the following:
- Marketing Strategy
- Marketing Communications
- Market Research
- Media Relations
- Emerging Technologies (e.g., Social Media, Digital Communications)
- Website (e.g., mobile compatibility/mobile friendly, responsive technology)
- Brief description of interest with examples of relevant professional experience.
