Matthias Angelmaier has a bachelor’s degree in industrial and mechanical engineering as well as a master’s degree in business development. He joined Robert Bosch GmbH, now Syntegon Technology in 2009.
During his first 3 years, he was a project manager for handling complex customer projects. Since 2012, he is the globally responsible product manager for barrier systems and isolator technology. His expertise includes process engineering, sterilization, bio-decontamination, aseptic and high-potent Isolator applications, glove testing systems as well as topics related to advanced aseptic processing.
I have over 30 years of diversified experience in process design, product development, project management, manufacturing, and quality assurance for the chemical, biomedical and biological industries. I joined Genentech in Sep 2017. My responsibilities include co-leading the PFS-NSD Technology Center, leading the collaboration with another biotech company to file and launch a new product for home use for the US market, and working with an outside vendor for an on-body injector project. Prior to Genentech, I worked at Amgen for almost 11 years and assumed the responsibility of developing various physical methods for Container Closure Integrity Testing and the roles of device engineer and device technical lead for several combination products. Prior to joining Amgen, I worked for Baxter Healthcare Corporation for 18 years, focusing on R&D Engineering in the areas of Infusion, hemodialysis and platelet apheresis at the beginning and then concentrating in Quality Engineering for product testing, product launch and regulatory compliance later. I hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, and am an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and ASQ Certified Biomedical Auditor.
Currently the Senior Manager in ASUS Life, responsible for product and business development. Have been in IT industry for 10 years, and before IT industry worked in marketing research for leading advertising company. Graduated from National Chiao-Tung University and major in Management Science. Focus on design thinking, business model, and new start up biz.
Andrea holds a degree in Physics from the Padua University and a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering.
As researcher at the National Research Council (C.N.R.) he developed several optoelectronic and nuclear scientific instruments for Magnetically Controlled Fusion Research setting up international collaboration with UWA Madison (Usa) and Garchin IPP (De).
After 10 years of activity in research he moved to the industrial sector developing optical and vision controls for industrial application as CEO of a Tattile srl subsidiary now Antares Vision. This experience drove him into the pharmaceutical field where he started to develop several control applications with vision and spectroscopy tools. After several years he joined Brevetti C.E.A. spa as R&D Manager and he developed the latest inspection technology currently on BCEA machines.
Since 2008 he has been with Stevanato Group as Product Manager to develop new automation and inspection products dedicated to the pharmaceutical customers of the group.
