CPE (Continuing Pharmacy Education)
The PDA Training and Research Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Participants may sign up for Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) credits following the successful completion of an accredited course and submission of the course evaluation forms.
ACPE and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) collaborated to develop a service called CPE Monitor, a national electronic system of tracking continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The CPE Monitor allows individuals to track their completed continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits. It will also offer boards of pharmacy the opportunity to electronically authenticate the CPE units completed by their licensees.
Paper statements are no longer mailed. To view and track the CPE credits you have earned, you must first set up an NABP e-Profile, obtain your NABP e-Profile ID, and register for CPE Monitor. It is the responsibility of the pharmacist and pharmacy technician to set up a profile and obtain a NABP e-Profile ID by visiting the NABP’s website at www.nabp.net.
