  • Where is the PDA Annual Meeting this year and what will be featured?

    The 2021 PDA Annual Meeting will be fully virtual using a NEW platform that will feature the following:

    • Plenary Sessions: These sessions will be broadcast at the time indicated in the agenda and will be followed by a live Q&A with the speaker(s).
    • Concurrent Sessions: These prerecorded presentations be available On Demand starting 8 March and their corresponding live Q&A sessions with the speakers will take place at the time indicated in the agenda.
    • On-Demand Presentations: Attendees can watch prerecorded presentations at their convenience starting 8 March and submit questions to be answered during the live Q&A session for that presentation.
    • Live Q&A: All Q&As will take place live at the time indicated in the agenda. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions, vote for their favorite question, and chat with other attendees.
    • Posters:  Posters are available for download. Attendees will have the opportunity to chat with presenters and ask them questions about their posters.
    • Virtual Exhibit Hall: Connect with exhibitors via text and video chat in the virtual Exhibit Hall. Participate in the Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win prizes.
    • Tech Talks: These short speaking slots presented by exhibitors will provide a fascinating glance into a variety of topics.
    • Connect & Network: Attendees are encouraged to turn on their video cameras and join us for these open roundtable video chat discussions in groups of up to 15 attendees. Each room will have its own topic to help get the conversation flowing.
  • Who should attend the PDA Annual Meeting?

    This Conference is ideal for those involved in the bio/pharmaceutical industry who are focused on manufacturing, engineering, product development, QA/QC, research, lab science, data science, and regulatory affairs. All career levels, from early career to senior level, will benefit from the carefully developed program. With multiple concurrent tracks from which to choose, you are sure to find a match.

  • When will the Agenda be available?

    The full agenda will be available in early February. Please click here for the schedule at a glance.

  • How long will content be available on the Conference platform?

    You will be able to access on-demand content, the virtual Exhibit Hall, and Poster Presentations for 60 days following the Conference.



  • What types of Registration are available?

    Attendees have two different Conference Registration types from which to choose:

    1. Full Conference Attendee: Attendees will have full access to the Annual Meeting virtual platform, including access to the entire On Demand library of presentations, live plenary sessions and Q&A sessions, video chats, Exhibit Hall, Poster Presentations, and more!
    2. Exhibit Hall Pass: These passes grant access to the virtual Exhibit Hall and Poster Presentations only.
  • What do I need to attend virtually?

    Attendees will need access to an updated internet browser and a good internet connection. Sessions will be viewable on a phone, tablet, or computer. The platform does not recommend accessing the conference while on a VPN. Attendees may need to reach out to their IT administrator to bypass their company’s firewall.

  • What time zone will the Conference schedule be presented in?

    The schedule will be in Eastern Daylight Time (UTC -4).



  • How can I connect with other attendees?
    • Browse attendee profiles and send direct messages to other attendees within the virtual platform.
    • Discussion tabs will be available during all live Q&A sessions.
    • Connect & Network: This area will feature discussion rooms on a variety of topics each day for attendees to video chat with a group of up to 15 people.
  • How can I connect with exhibitors and sponsors?
    • Browse the Exhibit Hall by selecting Exhibit Hall from the menu and favoriting the booth profiles you want to view/contact. Browse by Company, Category, or logo presented on the Logo Wall.
    • Video and text chat opportunities are also available within Exhibitor virtual booths.
