Membership Types
PDA offers several different membership types. Please note these are individual-based memberships, they cannot be refunded or transferred between individuals, and we do not offer corporate membership. Standard membership includes full membership benefits and privileges. All other member types are electronic only and receive discounts on PDA Products, please see full detail below. Also, all member types receive online access to the current and former volume year of the PDA Journal of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology. To receive full access to the Journal Archive at an additional cost, please visit www.pda.org/bookstore or contact Janny Chua at chua@pda.org.

Emerging Economy Membership $100.00 (electronic only)
To be eligible for our emerging economy membership you must live/work in a country that is designated as a developing country. This list is based on information from the World Bank. Online registration is not available for this member type. In order to activate your membership please fax/email a copy of the application. This member types gives you electronic Access to the PDA Journal Website, PDA Letter and Membership Directory. This member type does not receive access to electronic PDA Technical Reports or printed PDA Letter; to upgrade, please purchase standard membership.

Government/Health Authority Membership $100.00 (electronic only)
To qualify as a government organization you must be employed by an official government organization within your country. Companies or individuals contracted by an official government organization do not qualify. Online registration is not available for this member type. In order to activate your membership please fax/email a copy of a signed document from your government agency indicating you are full-time employee and send with your application. This member type gives you electronic access to Journal Website, PDA Letter, Technical Reports and Membership Directory. However, this member type does not give access to printed PDA Letters; to upgrade please purchase standard membership.
Academic Membership $100.00 (electronic only)
Academic memberships are for teachers or professors of recognized academic institutions. Online registration is not available for this member type; In order to activate your membership please fax/email a copy of a signed document from your academic institution indicating you are full-time employee and send with your application. This member types gives you electronic Access to Journal Website, PDA Letter and Membership Directory. This member type does not receive access to electronic PDA Technical Reports or printed PDA Letter; to upgrade, please purchase standard membership
Student Membership $30.00 (electronic only)
Student memberships are only for individuals that are enrolled as full time students at a recognized academic institution. Full time status is determined by the individual institution at which you are enrolled. Online Registration is not available for this member type; In order to activate your membership please fax/email us a copy of your official transcript and/or a letter from an administrative official at your school indicating that you have full-time student status at the institution. This member type gives you electronic Access to Journal Website, PDA Letter and Membership Directory. This member types does not receive access to electronic PDA Technical Reports or printed PDA Letter; to upgrade, please purchase standard membership.
Retired Membership $25 (electronic only)
Must be retried and employed in the pharmaceutical industry. This member types gives you electronic Access to Journal Website, PDA Letter and Membership Directory. This member type does not receive access to electronic PDA Technical Reports or printed PDA Letter; to upgrade, please purchase standard membership.
Temporarily Not Employed $25 (electronic only)
Must be temporarily unemployed and is a one-time membership extension for one year. This member types gives you electronic access to Journal Website, PDA Letter and Membership Directory.
