Seminar Overview

Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes demand precise conditions and clean air. While these are critical issues, utility costs are important as well. Liquid desiccant dehumidification systems deliver clean, temperature and humidity controlled air for applications including capsule forming & drying, hard shell filling, pan coating, sterile filling, spray & powder drying, tablet compression, and product packaging. These dehumidifiers also provide critical bacterial control by capturing most airborne bacteria, viruses, and mold. Other benefits include:

  • Improved air quality
  • Sanitation
  • Extended storage life
  • Consistent production rates

Energy efficient liquid desiccant systems can also provide refrigeration savings. This technology is most efficient when cool or cold dry air is desired and can handle airflows from 750 to 84,000 CFM.

Who Should Attend

  • Engineer
  • Architecture
  • Quality Control
    • Learning Objectives

This presentation will explore liquid desiccant dehumidification as well as its applications for pharmaceutical manufacturing and benefits to pharmaceutical manufacturing in-depth. Alternate technologies will also be discussed.
