Check Out this Year’s Exciting Agenda! The challenge of securing and protecting the integrity of the vast, global pharmaceutical supply chain can be met through a variety of science and risk-based approaches. Building on earlier PDA co-sponsored conferences, the PDA/FDA Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Conference will provide participants with a forum to further discuss innovative approaches aiming to prevent illicit acts such as counterfeiting, diversion and economic adulteration from threatening the safety of the drug supply. New laws, regulations and guidance continue to evolve globally helping to stimulate innovation toward enhancing good manufacturing, distribution and importation practices for pharmaceutical ingredients and products. Building on earlier PDA-cosponsored conferences and workshops on global pharmaceutical supply chains, this meeting will provide a forum to further implementation of innovative approaches aiming to prevent illicit acts such as counterfeiting, diversion and economic adulteration from threatening the safety of the drug supply.
Pharmaceutical Supply Chain is evolving into a global initiative as well as a cross-departmental initiative. Global regulators must partner, just as industry must partner to promote patient safety. By attending the PDA/FDA Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Conference you will hear regulators as well as industry experts present on an array of topics addressing practices and approaches to be considered to ensure the integrity and quality of the global supply chain.
Learning Objectives
By participating in the two day conference, participants will gain current knowledge from industry and regulatory experts and be able to:

- Integrating quality into the global business platform.
- Select enhanced testing programs and implementation of new technologies to improve the detection of adulterants.
- Approaches to reduce risk to product quality and counterfeit product in the pharmaceutical supply chain.
- Enhance counterfeit prevention programs
- Improving monitoring signals and assessing the risk of the market/environment.
- Improving controls over product distribution channels

PDA is excited to host the PDA/FDA Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Conference at the Marriott Bethesda North Hotel and Conference Center. A block of rooms have been reserved at the group rate of $219 single or double occupancy, plus applicable state and local taxes. Individual Cancellation
Please be aware that obtaining and canceling hotel reservations is the responsibility of the meeting registrant. Individuals will be responsible for payment of their own cancellation fees. The cancellation policy is 6 p.m. on the date of arrival otherwise specified on your reservation information.

The Marriott Bethesda North Hotel & Conference Center is adjacent to the White Flint METRO Station on the RED line offering easy access to Rockville, Bethesda, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia. Travel
Area Airports
Reagan National Airport (DCA) is approximately 20 miles from the hotel and all major carriers service this airport. Two other airports in the vicinity are both serviced by all major carriers: Dulles International, 24 miles away, and Baltimore-Washington International, 34 miles away.
Ground Transportation
Taxi fares from DCA are approximately $55 one way, not including tip, and will take about 30 minutes. One way taxi fares from Dulles is approximately $55 and from BWI about $75.

Bethesda North Marriott is located on Marinelli Road off of Rockville Pike in Rockville.
Metro
The Bethesda North Marriott is located on the RED line at the White Flint Station.
