PDA, in cooperation with the U.S. FDA, is offering a unique opportunity to share your knowledge, experience and advice with regulators and industry leaders by attending the 2013 PDA Pharmaceutical Quality Metrics Conference.
The conference is all inclusive and will explore quality metrics from different perspectives including those of outsourcing organizations, virtual companies, large companies, generic and proprietary manufacturers, etc.
Janet Woodcock, MD, Director, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, FDA, has just been confirmed to present at this conference.
The 2013 PDA Pharmaceutical Quality Metrics Conference will bring together experienced industry professionals and global regulators to discuss and learn from each other. These industry leaders are intricately and enthusiastically involved in working sessions designed to engage participants in identifying meaningful Quality Metrics. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute in establishing global best practice and developing practical solutions by involving themselves as they join in interactive working sessions and dialogue at this transformational conference. Participants will be challenged to identify and define meaningful, measurable and manageable Quality Metrics that drive continuous improvement with respect to the global drug supply.
Each day of this two full day meeting will be dedicated to Quality Metrics topics including both plenary and interactive breakout sessions. The meeting will conclude on the 2nd day with a summary and panel discussion of the output from the breakout sessions and a discussion on potential industry steps forward – maybe even a first version of recommended Quality Metrics for products and facilities. The program agenda will bring together a diverse group of industry experts including representatives from branded and generic manufacturers, CMOs and FDA regulators. This two-day conference will be held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center on Dec 9-10, 2013.
